William Earl (Bill) Cowley, 45, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah.
Bill was born on August 7, 1978, in Englewood, Colorado, the youngest of six children. He was raised in Evanston, Wyoming, and later made his home in California, Nevada, and Utah. He worked for many years in construction and spent the last ten years on the Salt Lake International Airport project.
A natural observer, Bill was quick to notice the humor or irony in every situation. He also knew when a kind word or two was most needed. Both his humor and compassion will be desperately missed.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Morgan Rae Cowley of Salt Lake City, Utah; mother, Darlene Osmond Marsh of Coalville, Utah; siblings, Barbara Anne Williams of Hopkins, South Carolina; Marilynn Cowley of Coalville, Utah; Christina Marie Maughan of Salt Lake City, Utah; Jesse Everette Cowley of West Jordan, Utah; and Thomas Patrick Cowley of Layton, Utah. He is preceded in death by his father, Everette Dick Cowley of Morgan, Utah.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on July 20, 2024, at the Coalville Stake Center, 40 North Main Street, Coalville, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same building at 10:00 am, and internment in the Coalville City Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral.
