Life & Legacy
Janeen Theobald Gustafson passed away on October 22, 2018 after a lingering illness. She was born on
December 5, 1956 in Logan, Utah while her parents Cloyd and Connie Theobald were attending Utah
State Agricultural College (USU). They moved to Tooele in 1960 where Janeen grew up. She graduated
from Tooele High School in 1975. Attended Dixie College for 2 years and then moved to Denver with her
folks. She met and married David Gustafson (divorced) and they had one son, William Wallace
Gustafson. She had always been a busy mom and worked at Deseret Industries, Cottage Glen, Walmart
and was a beloved employee at Dollar Tree. She is survived by her parents, her son and his wife
Elizabeth. Sisters and brothers: Diane (Phillip)Waken, Steven (Colleen), Michael (Debbie), Charles (
Mary Anne), Suzanne (Gregory) Fox and David. Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be
held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Tooele 13 th Ward Chapel, 1025 Southwest Drive.
Visitation at 1:30 pm. Janeen’s body was cremated.

So sorry for your loss Willy, and the rest of the Theobald family. Janeen was a neighbor of mine for year's. Always smiling and happy, she was truly a kind and thoughtful person. I am glad to have known her. May peace be with you all and Blessed Be.

We were saddened to hear of Janeen's passing. She was a dear friend and neighbor. We enjoyed being her home teachers for many years. Janeen was kind and caring, and will be missed by many who knew and loved her.
