Cameron Kenneth Wilson later known as Natasha Valentina died February 15, 2023 at age 40.

Losing a loved one is never easy.  Everything about it feels unfair, unlucky, perhaps even preventable and it leaves many wondering ‘What if’ and ‘If only’.   It can be even more agonizing when the death is the result of mental illness and addiction.  But re-living the manner of which one has died is not the purpose of an obituary.  Cameron-Natasha never wanted to be defined only by addiction or miscalculated decisions … but rather, by love given and laughs shared.

Cameron was born October 30, 1982 in Tooele, UT.  As a child he loved the outdoors, fishing, family camping trips and out-singing his all female cousins and sister during fierce competitions.  After graduating from Tooele High, Cameron moved to Salt Lake City and began the journey of adulthood.  That journey was filled with ups and downs, as most journeys are.  But during this journey of finding oneself, a huge missing piece of Cameron’s life was found - and that piece was Natasha Valentina.  Cameron-Natasha was a beautiful, intelligent person, full of love. Cameron-Natasha was feisty, stubborn and outspoken and would do anything for loved ones.  With a beaming smile, a sharp jawline and a strut that no runway model could touch, Cameron-Natasha left a little bit of glitter everywhere he/she went.  And no matter what phase of life you knew Cameron or Natasha in,  remember the laughs, remember the hugs. When you find a piece of glitter just know that Cameron-Natasha probably dropped it from up above just to say “Hello”.

Cameron-Natasha is greeted in the after life by his father Kenneth Wilson, grandfather Cecil Dougherty and aunt Donna Clowry.  He leaves behind his mother Kerry Wilson and sister Marisa Wilson-Vario.

A celebration of life to be held at a future date.

I have often wondered what happened to Cameron. I heard about the new name of Natasha and it totally fit. I have many good memories from teenage years and such, we worked at the Artic Circle in Tooele together. We also had many common friends together. My girlfriend stumbled across his passing and it hit me so hard that I had to look up this obituary. So in fashion of how the obituary was written and I had to say something in hopes that loved ones might read this and know that Cameron-Natasha has been thought of. I lost touch in the early 2000's but I always wondered what became of some people, Cameron was one of those people. I have a heavy heart knowing that this beautiful person is gone. I know Cameron had struggles growing up and I wish other people could realize that we all do, but our individual struggles might look different than someone else's therefore we should only cast out love and understanding so we can all get through life together. Natasha Valentina, I hope you can move on to more enlightenment and more love and know that there's still people left here behind that think fondly of you and knowing that you're gone makes this earth a little less appealing. I'm sorry that I lost touch and that it took so long for me to say something. I hope your loved ones left behind can take solace in knowing that someone still thinks of you and remembers the impact you left. Rest in peace and stay as beautiful as you always have been.
