Life & Legacy
Marsha Higley passed away unexpectedly at her home, on March 22, 2020 at the age of 51. Marsha was born on January 28, 1969 to Rulon & Carolee Higley weighing 4 lbs 10oz.
Marsha met her love, Matt Owen, in 2014. Marsha's life long dream of becoming a mom came true in 2017 when she adopted her son, Calvin. Calvin was the light of her life and her whole world.
Marsha is preceded in death by her grandparents: Milo & Katherina Higley and Rulon and Emma Goff; three uncles: Paul Higley, Calvin Goff & Delmar Goff.
She is survived by her parents, Rulon & Carolee Higley; her son, Calvin; her boyfriend, Mathew Owen; her brothers Darrin (Angie) Higley, Dennis (Shona) Higley, Alma Higley, Jared Higley; two sisters, Sandi Higley & Tami Higley; 6 nieces; 5 nephews; 1 great nephew; and many uncles, aunts, & cousins.
As a result of the Coronavirus, the family will hold a private graveside service in Grantsville on March 30, 2020.
Close friends and family are invited to attend an online viewing on March 30th at 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
A private graveside service will be held Monday March 30, 2020 at Grantsville City Cemetery.

Marsha, our family will never forget the service you did for Mother by being with her. At first it started because Mother did not like to be alone, then as she got more involved and eventually ended up being in a hospital bed you were there. Thank you. It was wonderful to visit you both, play games and visit. May your legacy of love and service live on in the the things we do for others. Our condolences to your family and your sweet little boy.
