My husband and I both worked with Ted before we retired. I called him a big ole' teddy bear because that's exactly what he was to me. Ted loved his family a great deal and he was very proud of them. RIP Teddy Bear, you will be missed.

I officially met Ted and Teresa in my 20s. They both accepted me into the family right away. I was visiting them one time and Dad had built this elevator thing for mom so she could get up amd down easily. Dad forgot to Jolyn proof it. Dad, Sandi and myself were trying to bring the rascal scooter up on to the porch using the elevator at night. I was the one driving it. I turned to dad and said "I feel like I am not going in anywhere. It was working then it stop. See." Right then we heard a Crack and I jumped off the elevator. Unfortunately I didn't have the scooter centered correctly and the top of it was hitting something else. I looked at dad and said i see your problem. You didn't Jolyn proof it.
I am going to miss dad and his hugs so so much. He was an exceptional man and I am glad I got to know him.
