Carol Weyland

Carol Janice Weyland, 78, of Erda, passed away on Aug. 13, 2015, due to complications of pneumonia. She was surrounded by loved ones when she passed who will miss her personality and talents. "Christmas Carol" was born on Dec. 9, 1936, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Arlington and Ruth Johnson. She married Dellis A. Weyland on Dec. 2, 1961, and started her new life in Erda. She was the first of three children in her family. She had many interests in life including the love of photography, travel and music. She learned the talent of music at a young age and played both piano and marimba for the enjoyment of others. She is survived by three children, Michelle Louise Rowe (Jack). Jeannette Renee Knudsen (Wayne) and Renaud Albert Weyland and two grandchilden. She was preceded in death by Dellis and son, Cary Dellis Weyland. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2015 at Tooele City Cemetery.
