Bernie F. Morgas
Devoted husband, wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother passed away suddenly on February 24, 2018.
Bernie was born in Taos, New Mexico on July 4, 1961 to Tomas and Eufelia Morgas.
Bernie graduated from Taos High School. Then proceeded on to being a firefighter before moving and residing in Tooele, Utah, where he met Brenda his true love of 35 years. He worked at Magcorp for 18 years, and then at Energy Solutions as a heavy equipment operator for 12 years.
Bernie was a big Packers fan. He enjoyed riding his Harley with many friends and family. His favorite past time was taking his father-in-law and sister-in-law fishing with others. He also loved making trips to Wendover.
Bernie is survived by his wife Brenda Evans of Tooele. His stepchildren Darsey (Thomas) Montgomery of Belvidere, Il. Darrell (Shannon) Sagers of Rush Valley, Utah. Kellie Jo Davis (Harley) Reudter of Chattaroy, Wa. Albert Evans of Tooele, Utah. His siblings Elsie Williams of SLC, Utah. Francis (Albino) Chacon of Taos, New Mexico. Andreita (Andres) Quintana, Lino (Evelyn) Morgas, both of Tooele, Utah. Clara (Fred) Radman, Jennie (Leroy) Duran, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ray (Brenda) Morgas of Tooele, Utah. James (Rosemarie) Morgas of Taos, New Mexico. 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Bernie is proceeded in death by both parents and 2 brother-in-laws. He will be dearly missed by all, especially his best friend Hershey.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Marguerite's Catholic Church in Tooele, Utah. A visiting line beginning at 11:00 a.m. Mass at Noon, Interment will be held in Tooele City Cemetery.
