Robert was a kind and gentle soul. His devotion and attention to his late wife was always evident when they were together. He steadied her , doted on her and remained steadfast right by her side. He played a beautiful guitar and as a couple Robert's voice was paired beautifully with Steffies. Robert was in every sense of word in "Love" with Steffie. He leaves behind a wonderful family. His sons and daughters should be proud of his example. His son Steven will always be one a true "Otter of the Universe." Playful and into everything. May your family heal in a good way and may your tears be short lived. Strong prayers & understanding for Robert's family.

Dear Father, we will miss your voice singing sad love songs; the strings of your guitar playing campground favorites; the holidays filled with music of the ages, songs we teach our children. We will always remember dances with you, harmonized laughter and late night lullabies-our babies sleeping on piles of coats, their arms wrapped around each other. These and so many other things are our precious and cherished memories. Thank You for them

We lost our father on Sunday, this is one of the most heart breaking things my family has had to endureHe was loved by hundreds of people and will be very missed by his children he was involved with Tony, Julie, Steve, Robert, Mike, Valerie, Tonya, Trista, and all our Spouses, as well his grand daughter, Aleasha and his beautiful Great Grand Children, Bella and Alyssa, they helped take care of our father in his last days, and he sure missed LJ, he raised us with loving compassion, honor, and dedication and friendship we all have cherished his parenting skills and love he gave to all of us.Our Dad so loved and respected his father Jose and Adored his Mother Maria (little Grandma). Dad loved and respected his siblings Lawrence, Paul, Roger, Eileen, Dorothy, Ida and his little brother Eddie and all their Spouses and all his Nieces and Nephews and Cousins and Friends ..He was loved by all his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren as well. He really loved my kids Robert, Austin, Grandsons Tyson and Jake, Granddaughter Kenzie and he had a special love for my daughter Samantha. My dad taught me to be a man by example on how to love with all your heart like he did my mother and all his family and children. He taught to keep your word and to help others and to work hard and to learn to save and to spend wisely and the most important to love GOD, Country, Family and to give your all to your true love and spouse and to enjoy life with music, celebrations through all the good and bad times, which he did quite well with our mother and his true love.He lost her and was very sad of her death but also celebrated her life as much as he could when she was with us and when she was gone.Dad is now with GOD and Mom and I just bet they are singing to each other and our happy as can be. Rest in Peace father, we will miss you but never forget the way you and mom sang to each other with you little drinks, the love you displayed your goo-goo eyes which (Mom) would say,and the respect you had for each other will live in all of usGOD I know is proud of his Child, Robert Ofelio Valdez.
