Grantsville UT- On Sunday January 24, 2021, Christine J Clark returned home to her Father in Heaven’s arms.
Christine was on born February 12, 1954 to William and Daryl Johnson. She was the fifth of eight children; Dean (Beatrice), Charles, Phyllis (Bob) Castagno, Douglas, Kathleen, Jolynn Anderson and Regina (Melvin) Yazzie. She graduated from Grantsville High school in 1972 and went on to study at Weber State University. Soon after graduating she met and fell in love with Paul Clark and the two were married on March 14, 1975 and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on April 24, 1976. They raised four children together; Samuel (Amber), Salena, Jason (Kristy) and Paul Allen (Amelia). She is preceded in death by her parents; William and Daryl, and three siblings; Charles, Douglas and Kathleen. She is survived by her husband Paul, her four children, 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
One of Christine’s favorite activities was dragging Main Street in Grantsville. She would be known to spend all evening going up and down that road. She and her friends would stop for fries and a drink then continue up Main Street. Even after having children she would recreate the memory with her children. Christine is best known for her skills in crafting. From tole painting to scrap booking, Christine had everything you could imagine to make the perfect craft. Christine gave her heart and devotion to her children and their passions. Without questions her boys could look into the stands of their sports events and see their mom cheering them on with pride. Her children have always felt the support of their mother throughout their lives. Despite Christine’s sweet and quiet demeanor she had a strong and fierce personality; this will be most missed in this earthly departing. Until we meet again, Christine.

I had the opportunity of teaching Christines Sunday school class when she was staying in South Ogden Utah with the Marsdens. She was an incredible student always very engaged with the lesson and spiritual very sensitive. She told me more than once I was the best school teacher she never had. Likely not true but it made me feel great!Dennis Ashton
