Peggy F. Pearce, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Tooele, Utah, on September 8, 2025, at the age of 87.

Peggy was born on January 1, 1938, in Tooele, Utah, to Kenneth C. Fawson and Beth Porter. She was the oldest of four children. Her three younger brothers were Kenneth, Curtis, and Lorell. A lifelong resident of Grantsville, Peggy was deeply rooted in her faith, family, and community. She married Glen Pearce in the Salt Lake City Temple, a cherished union that reflected her devotion to the gospel and her enduring love.

Peggy faithfully served in numerous callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, offering her time and talents with grace and dedication. Her love of music, dancing, and aerobics brought joy to those around her and reflected her vibrant spirit.

She was involved in the Grantsville Sociable and the Grantsville Beautification Committee, contributing to the beauty and charm of the town she loved so dearly.

Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Glen; her parents, Kenneth and Beth Fawson; and her brother, Curtis Fawson. She is survived by her brothers, Ken Fawson and Lorell Fawson; her daughter, Cindy Ekins (Jeff); grandchildren, Chad Wells (Schantelle), Aubrey Wells, and Jeremy Wells (Jill); great-grandchildren, Dalton, Haylee, Mya, Gabe, Max, and Jackson; and one great-great-grandchild, Azlynn. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Ron Pearce (Erin), Tina Howell (Orin), Mike Pearce (deceased) (Sasha), and Craig Pearce (Jana). Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured with warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Funeral services will be held at the Grantsville Stake Center, located at 550 East Durfee Street, Grantsville, Utah, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral at 10:00 a.m., followed by services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Grantsville City Cemetery.

I have many special memories of chats I had with Peggy. She was a very nice lady and friend. I worked with Glen at TEAD and he was a favorite of mine. Both of these wonderful friends will be missed by so many. My sincere condolences go out to the family.
