Our Queen Bee has left our hive. Connie M. Vigil was born to Celestino Sr. and Eulogia Silva Medina in San Cristobal, New Mexico, on May 22, 1932. She met the love of her life, Felix Vigil, and they were married for 47 years. Together they raised a family. Teaching them through example, the love for Our Lord and Savior, hard work, compassion and unconditional love for family and friends. She loved with all her heart. Anytime you told her "I love you", her response was always, "I love you more." We never doubted her words for a minute.

Connie lived a life of service. She had unwavering faith and spent many years serving as...for her church.

She was happiest when she had a house full of people, and she always had a fresh meal on the table for anyone that walked through her doors. Connie had a sign on her wall that read, "You're a Stranger here but once," and it was the truth. She was an amazing cook, and she taught her children and grandchildren how to prepare her special recipes-enchiladas, tamales, and her famous tortillas.

Connie loved dancing, and we are certain it was a glorious reunion in heaven with her sweetheart, and the walls of heaven are filled with "In the Mood". She also enjoyed playing bingo and her special trips to Wendover.

Connie is survived by her children: Celestino Jr. (Natalie); John (Michele); Marcella (Rod); Felix (Brenda); Roberta (John); and sisters in law, Fabie and Jacque. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, and brothers, Roger, Orlando, and Alvie.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28th at St. Marguerite's Catholic Church. Viewing from 10:30 to 11:30, rosary from 11:30 to 12:00, mass at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Tooele City Cemetery.
