I also wanted to express my sorrow at hearing of your little girl's passing. Like so many, I have prayed for your peace and continued comfort. It's clear you all have great strength and faith, but I hope you continue to see and feel the tender mercies of the Lord for years to come. I work at BYU and just days before hearing of your loss, I wept my way through a devotional address by Alan Harker. He talks of hope as an anchor to our souls and shared his daughter's experience of finding hope through the loss of her toddler. I wanted to share a link to the address; perhaps it will add to your comfort: https://speeches.byu.edu/talks/alan-r-harker_hope-anchor-souls/.Emily Darowski (previously Swensen; Sheri- I know it's been years since we've been in touch growing up together, but I still think about you sometimes, particularly enjoying conversations with you in classes during high school)

Dear Suhaka Family,Our prayers have been with you that you might be comforted by the Spirit at this difficult time and that your faith might be strengthened. What a lovely expression of your love for your beautiful little daughter and reassurance that there is a loving Heavenly Father that has called her home. We too lost a little child but were only permitted to have him for 10 days. We are so grateful for the promise of Eternal families. Cindy and Ed Spencer (Emily Anderegg's parents)

Pres. Suhaka and Sheri, I just saw sister Norton's post on Facebook about your darling little girls passing. My heart is so sad to hear this news tonight. I never had the opportunity to know her, as I got married just a couple months after she was born. I am so sorry to hear of her passing...What a beautiful angel! Your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. I love you so much!! You both are so spiritual and amazing examples to me in my life and have been during the years I attended the UF 9th branch. I know your family will be strengthened from this experience. May you continue to find peace and love at this time. With Love, James and Kollette Michaelson

Sheri and Michael,When I heard about the little girl that nearly drowned, I couldn't believe it when I found out it was your little girl. The last time I talked to Sheri, she was pregnant with little Susie. Brita and I were able to come to the funeral, and I'm so grateful that we were. You two are so full of strength it's amazing! How wonderful it was that you were determined to give hope to the congregation when it was you that we were all hoping to give strength to! I can only imagine what you've learned these passed several days. We've been gone for almost 7 years, and I still miss you so much as my neighbor! There will never be another who compares. I wish that I could sit and talk with you, Sheri, like we used to. What wonderful conversations we could have about your little girls passing! I also wish we would have had more time to stay there and hear President Suhaka speak in conferences. I thoroughly enjoyed his spirit filled talks!! Sure do Love you guys!!

Dear Suhaka family, My heart breaks for your loss! I fully believe that she was here to gain a mortal body and now has other work to do beyond the vein as her spirit was too good for this world. I never met her but with you guys as her parents I fully believe the Lord knew he could trust you with one of his sweetest spirits! Michael Suhaka had been my stake president before getting married, less than a month ago, and has touched my life for good. Out of the whole congregation, one stake conference, he reached out to me and S aid he felt like he needed to ask me how I was doing. Being led by the spirit I was in ah that day and felt the Lords love for me. Again at a temple recommend interview I will never forget the love I felt from him. I loved every time he got up to speak to us, expressing so much love to sooo many of us in the Union Fort ward. I am blown away by your families goodness and am so grateful for your examples! I hope this somehow lifts you up to know how many hearts you have touched and have lead closer to the Savior! Thank you for being his servants. I pray for your comfort at this time and that Angels will circle around you to bare you up with Gods LoveSincerely,Kellie Molis (previously known as... Woodland)

Dear President and Sister Suhaka, I am grateful to have been acquainted with your family during the years I was in the Union Fort Single Adult Branch. Although I never had the privilege to meet Suzie (she was born after I moved to a new ward), I remember the love with which each of you always spoke about your children, and the faith and love you always expressed in our Heavenly Father. Although this sad event has changed your lives forever, I know that our Father in Heaven has good plans for you all. He is still holding you, even when it's hard to feel it. I know that Suzie will always be a special part of your family, and her legacy will live on for generations to come. Please know that hundreds of people have been touched by this incident and are praying fervently for your family's comfort and reassurance of God's love at this difficult time. I have prayed dozens of times for you over the past few days, and hope you and your children will find peace.Sincerely,W. Miller

To the Suhaka family: What a lovely tribute to Susie, she really was a little ray of sunshine! I will always remember Susie with a smile when I think of her playing on the floor with Eli in relief society, constantly swapping toys and taking turns knocking over the garbage pails. I have a favorite children's book that I'm sure you've read to Susie before called Love you forever, there's a line that I love near the end of the book when the child is talking to his mother, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my mommy (and daddy) you'll be!" I know one day there will be the sweetest of reunions with Susie and until that day know that she, and the rest of your family is loved!

To President and Sis. Suhaka,Our Prayers are with you. My children and I moved out of the stake last year but the impression that you made on us all was everlasting. Especially for my daughter Hailey that was called to the pulpit on her birthday during one stake conference. You are very kind and faithful. The lord will comfort you during this time.
