Marianne Pollei Raymond, age 78, passed away on January 12, 2026.

Marianne was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she spent her life devoted to family, faith, and hard work. She was married to her beloved husband, Stephan L Raymond, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a home centered on service, hard work, and love.

Throughout her life, Marianne worked many jobs to help make ends meet, all while carrying the lion’s share of raising her children. She was loving, kind, hardworking, perseverant, empathetic, and determined—qualities that defined her and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Marianne had a deep love for genealogy and scrapbooking, carefully preserving family history for future generations. Her faith was central to her life, and she found peace and purpose in attending the LDS temple.

She is survived by her children: Kathryn Wylie (Gist), David Raymond (Georgia Peck), Elizabeth Maycock (Mike), Stephan A. Raymond, and Michelle Ellis (Luke); along with many extended family members and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephan L Raymond; her father; her mother; and her siblings.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held at the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 East Cherry Street, Grantsville, Utah.
