Ardis Lynn (Angel) Hopkins passed away March 14, 2024. She was born November 29, 1939, in Murray,
Utah to Edna Charlotte (Chambers) Angel and Arthur Frederick Angel. Ardis married Neil Robert Hopkins
in the Salt Lake Temple on February 18, 1965, and raised five children. She earned a bachelor’s degree
in elementary education from BYU Utah and taught kindergarten and first grade for several years. Later
in life, she was a home health caregiver for over thirty years. Ardis was a member of the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ardis is survived by her sisters, Kathy, Roberta, and brother Doug; children,
Gregory (Uainani), Geoffery (Clarinda), Jared (Maggie), Christine (Dennis) Sagers, and Suzanne; fifteen
grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at
11 a.m., at the Tooele 4th Ward Building, 192 W. 200 S., with a viewing at 10 a.m., followed by a burial at
the Tooele City Cemetery.
