Rulon Milo Higley (76), passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2024, in Salt Lake City, UT. He was surrounded by family throughout the prior weeks and during the time of passing. He had a great love for so many things especially hunting, fishing, ranching, and spending time with family and loved ones. Rulon and his beautiful bride Carolee celebrated 55 wonderful years of marriage. They would have celebrated their 56th anniversary on March 8th, 2024. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to so many. He has left a wonderful mark in this world and has touched the lives of so many. He will truly be missed and never forgotten! He is preceded in death by his parents Katherina and Milo Higley; one brother Paul Higley; two sisters Marjorie Moss and Geraldine Everett; and his eldest daughter Marsha Higley. He is survived by his wife Carolee Higley, 4 Sons Darrin (Angie), Dennis (Shona), Alma and Jared Higley and two daughters Sandi and Tami Higley. He has 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Arthur (Susan) Higley, Colleen Hughes, LeeAnn Higley-Carlyle, and Barbara (Quinn) May. He had so much love for us all and so many others. There will be a viewing for family and friends to celebrate his life on Monday, January 29th, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the LDS Church located at 81 Church Street in Grantsville, UT. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30th at 11:00 AM at the same location with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
