Glenice Darlene Moore February 15, 1944 — August 4, 2025 Tooele
Glenice passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Thursday, July 31.
She was born on February 15, 1944, to Glenn and Helen Nuesmeyer in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She grew up in Garfield and Tooele, graduating from Tooele High School in 1962. She married Jay Moore in Las Vegas in March 1964. Together, they worked and raised their children, Tamara Robinson and Jerry Moore. They loved traveling and spending time together as a family. Glenice loved being a mother and grandmother and was happiest when she was with her children and grandchildren.
She retired from the Tooele Army Depot and later worked at Walmart for a few years. After retiring completely, she enjoyed volunteering at Mountain West Medical Center, bowling, and playing bingo and cards with her friends.
Glenice was preceded in death by her parents; two infant brothers; her sweetheart, Jay; grandson, Dustin; and great-grandson, Dayton.
She is survived by her children, Tammy (Shayne) and Jerry; and her only sister, Deanna Terry.
She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, with number 21 due in September, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 8, at 10 a.m. at Lakeview Church, Stansbury Park, Utah (500 Village Blvd, Suite 210). Interment will follow at Tooele City Cemetery. Please wear your favorite bright clothes—Glenice loved her beautiful, brightly colored dresses.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
