Ray E Davis May 7, 1946 — December 26, 2023 Grantsville
Ray E Davis, beloved husband, son, brother, father, and friend,unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Ray was born May 7, 1946, in Heber City, Utah, to Edgar and Viola Davis. He served his country in the Armed Forces for 12 years. After leaving the military, he worked various jobs including the Depot as a security guard, ending up at CAMDS.
He was an active member of the LDS church where he spent most of his time teaching Primary. Ray also had a love for horses, and you could always rely on him to have a story or a joke to tell.
Ray is survived by his wife; Becky. Siblings: Carolyn, Dean (Carol), Gary, Ricky and Vickie; four children: Michelle (Jeff), Rachelle (Angela), Melissa (Jeremy), Steven (Wendy), and 10 grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, and 2 granddaughters.
Viewing and funeral services will be held at the LDS Church on 81 Church St., in Grantsville. The viewing will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 4, 2024, at 11 AM with a viewing an hour before.
