Ellis Martell Larson took his last breath of life in the early hours of July 27, 2021 Ellis was born to Harold S. & Mavis Larson on March 5, 1941 in Compton, California He was married to Pauline Garcia, later divorced but remained friends. Ellis served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962, serving 13 months in Okinawa, Japan. He was Honorably Discharged as a Specialist 5. He went on to work for Tooele Army Depot from 1963 to 1993 at which time he retired to join the snow bunny crew in Yuma, AZ. Making their weekly trip to Algadonnes, Mexico for lunch and shenanigan's. When it got too hot in Yuma (100+) he would make his way to Palisades, Idaho, he had this routine for about 24 years and enjoyed every bit of it. Ellis was an avid member and Past Worthy President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #164 for many years. Survived by; One daughter Kris (Mike Mead) Garcia & One son David Larson, Granddaughter's Kristin (Ace) Ruybal, Brandi Garcia, Ashley Trujillo, Monica (Jacob) Simmons, 4 great grandchildren along with bonus grandchildren. Brothers; Sherman (Norene) Larson, Robert (Diana) Larson, Jay (Deanna) Larson, Rande (Rosa) Larson. Sisters; Marilyn (Robert) Park, Avonne (David) Goff, Susan Snyder, Sister-in-law Marilyn (Eric) Larson, numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by; Parents Harold & Mavis Larson, Brother Eric Larson, Sister Shirley Roseman, Brother-in-laws Robert Park & Wayne Roseman. Graveside Services w/Military honors will be held August 4, 2021 @ 11:00 am at the Tooele City Cemetery 361 S. 100 E. A luncheon will be provided at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #164, 50 S. 1st Street, directly following services. Special thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice & RMC Willows Springs.

Ellis danced to his own music & his giggle was worth millions, when we would see him I would call him great grandpa & he would giggle & light up like a light bulb. He loved his winters in Yuma with his friends & that has dropped in number. I think he would have lived in Mexico if he could have set it up, he had fun on his weekly trips. We will miss you Ellis but we will not forget you. RIP Great Grandpa.
