The Rose Beyond the Wall
Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God’s free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it’s sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice’s length
And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing it’s fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive–
The rose still grows beyond the wall,
Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forever-more.

I love you, man! Even now that you no longer walk with the living, the admiration from everyone who remembers you, will keep the candles lit. If any one of your family, or close friends need help, I\'ll try and be there for you. Save me a place in Heaven, or if you hear otherwise, send me a warning 😆 . Fly high, my good friend! ⤠💙 💜

How we miss seeing you Eric! You were always there to pickup Reagan from school and we would have our chats while Reagan and Bug played. You were such a bright spirit and Hayden misses you so much. We all do! We had only just begun to get to know you, but you were such a genuine soul that we wanted to be close to your little family. I hope you find peace in the here-after. Stella and Reagan, you are amazing ladies and I hope you find some semblance of peace during this startling time. We are here for you and your sweet girl.

Eric was a great guy! I will never forget all the memories I have with you Eric making sure my boys always had everything when you were around. You made a big impact on Angel\'s life and he his taking this loss hard. I was in shock to be honest and could not believe this was true when I heard you were no longer here. I pray for your families healing with you being gone. I pray for Reagan as she will now grow up with only memories of you and I know that you left so many good ones for her! I will always remember the first time you asked me if I wanted to see your camel toe, I gave you this look but I knew you had something up your sleeve you took off your sock and showed me your big toe with the camel tattoo. Or the first time I ever met you all when we went to Chili\'s and you and Buddy sang the Chilis baby back ribs song to me. You bought Angel his first Kawasaki 4 wheeler when he was 2. You always made sure you came to see your Brother (cousin) chechie everytime you came down. I know he is taking this hard and I pray for his healing as well. You left a big mark on this world with your kind heart and funny jokes. Sometimes the ppl who let off the brightest light are the ones hurting so hard deep inside and no one really sees through the little cracks they are trying to hint for help! Rest Easy Eric you will truly be missed!!

I had the pleasure of working with Eric last summer. His willing to give was so inspiring! He was so genuine in the way he treated people around him. He always had drinks and popsicles to give the kids that worked for him on hot days. He truly was a perfect example of someone that would give you the shirt of his back. I will always try to live by his example of serving those around me! Thank you Eric for everything! Rest In Peace â¤ï¸
