Life & Legacy
Alan Michael Archuleta passed away on May 29, 2017 due to complications from stomach cancer. He was born July 18, 1964 to Arturo and Gladys Ortiz Archuleta. Preceded in death by Gladys Ortiz (mother), Cirilo and Josefa Ortiz (grandparents), Lucia and Jose Archuleta (grandparents).
Alan was a great carpenter and construction worker. He was always thinking of new inventions to make life easier, and had obtained quite a few patents. Alan was a car enthusiast and a great mechanic. He lost his battle of stomach cancer, fighting until the very end. RIP Brother, father, friend.
Survived by (Father) Arthur Archuleta, ( son) Trenton Archuleta Medina, (brothers and sisters), Joe Archuleta, Doris DeDe Aragon (Jesse), JoAnn Archuleta (Bryan Luftglass), Melissa Archuleta, Tanya Archuleta , Brandon Archuleta (Laura), 11 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at St Therese of the Child Catholic Church located at 7832 N Allen St, Midvale UT 84047. Rosary will be at 10am followed by Mass service at 11am. We invite friends and family to attend a luncheon following at 12:15 pm in the reception hall.

Hey Alan Happy Belated Birthday! I miss the good thing's of our life together! But have chosen to forgive the terrible thing's of life together.I miss your smile even though you wouldn't smile in a picture!So anyway I want to wish you a happy birthday and my present to you is forgiveness for your short comings,Love for the man I knew you could be...sadness forloosing you to the demons you could not overcome .I will always Love the man I fell in Love with... the security that felt,your compassion to me and my boy's. iam so sorry to hear about alan!!! i meat alan while he was living across the street from craig dyches in midvale and was married to kathy, i was living with craig at the time and became pretty good freinds with the both of them, then i moved away and lost touch with every one for ? gosh anout 20 years or so, then i started working at smoken joes in midvale and loan behold guess who walked in the door ALAN lol and i ran to the other side of the counter and gave him a great big hug and started to cry. i was so happy to see him again, we started to hang out again for awhile and then i lost touch with him for a few more years and the next time i had seen him my fiance had just passed away and alan was so helpful and was right there for me and my daughter, he was such a good and giving person and his laugh was so infectious ill never forget it!!! i remember when he fell off the roof at work!! it seemed like he was never really the same after that, but never the less we remained friends of course, but then we lost contact once again and i just now heard what happend and im so sorry to hear that and feel really bad that i wasnt around to help him and to comfort him in his need!!! so please if you need help with anything and iam able to i would love to and please know my prayers go out to all of you and ill always remember him as such a sweet man with a great big heart. until next time my prayers are with you, love always kimberly anne firkey rosenlund
