Life & Legacy
Born on September 11, 1930 to Hazel Hammond and James P. Madsen, Donna Louise Madsen Cunningham left this earth on April 29, 2018 to be united with the love of her life, Allen L. Cunningham. Also waiting for her was her daughter Betty and a grandson who preceded her in death. Although the family she left behind will miss having her, the family that was waiting there is celebrating with her now. She was 87 years old.

Donna was a waitress at Delle for several years, she worked at TEAD until her retirement, and she was always a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She had a great love of family, she was a good friend, and had a spirited sense of humor.

She is survived by her children: Allen (Cindy) Cunningham, Gregory Cunningham, Gary Cunningham, and Pamela (Curtis) Butler. Her brothers are Kenneth Madsen and Wayne (Cindy) Madsen. Her sisters Connie Sutherland and Maxine (Bud) Bolinder. She has 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

Graveside services or a “drive by” as Donna called it, will be held at the Grantsville City Cemetery on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the donations towards funeral expenses can be made in Donna Cunningham's name at Chartway Credit Union in Grantsville, Utah.

My Aunt Donna was an amazing lady. She always had a positive attitude. As a child, I used to love going over to her house after school or on the weekends. She would yodel and sing for me and Betty. It was AMAZING. I remember our family camping and fishing trips. No one could make potatoes in a cast iron skillet over a camp fire like Aunt Donna. We will miss her but know she is happy and healthy in heaven.
