Life & Legacy
Gracie got her angel wings on April 2, 2019 in the arms of her mom and dad. Gracie fought a fight she did not win which was the flu that resulted in heart failure. She fought for 72 long painful days. Gracie was greeted by her "granny".
Gracie will live in the memories of so many people. She loved to cheer, dance, eat ice cream and hang out with her friends. Gracie's favorite things were her puppies, Lucy "Fat Fat" and Sadie " Sadie Belle". She loved her mom and dad so much. She was a daddy’s girl. Gracie was the perfect daughter and sister. She was always looking out for Austin, Carson and Brayden.
She is survived by her dad, Chad Walkingshaw, her mom, Bobbie Walkingshaw, brothers Austin Walkingshaw, Carson Walkingshaw and Brayden Cowlishaw. Grandparents Steve Lefler, Betty Jo Kelly, Jim Walkingshaw, Robin Walkingshaw, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Preceded in death by Great Grandma Elsa Lefler, Great Grandpa Mart Lefler, Great Grandma Jaydeen "Granny" Wade, John Kelly, Albert Walkingshaw, Pamela Walkingshaw, Norman Christensen, Jean Christensen and cousins "Scoot" and Heidi.
Gracie's family would like to thank family, friends and all who helped her during her fight. Thank you to all the medical staff at Primary Childrens Hospital. Many of you went above and beyond.
Services will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm at Deseret Peak Complex 2930 UT-112, Grantsville Ut, 84029

They say it gets easier but it doesn’t Gracie, you just touched so many life’s that the hurt doesn’t go away, you would be sweet 16 now and I bet have so many boys after you. I have to remind myself that God picked you because he seen how pure you were and loved. One day I will see you my beautiful niece and that day I’m going to give you the biggest hug ever and let you paint my nails if I can stop biting them lol. Keep watching over all your family and friends my sweet Gracie. I bet Lucy is in your arms right now.
