I will cherish the fond memories of visiting with you uncle ray and the stories from the past . Rest in Peace ....When i must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile;and for my sake and in my name live on and do all things the same, feed not your loneliness on empty day's, but fill each walking hour in useful way's,Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and i in turn will comfort you and hold you near;and never, never be afraid to die,for i am waiting for you in the sky.

Where do I start? Most of my memories are when I was a child. I spent alot of time with my Aunt Lorraine, Uncle Ray, and some of the cousins. My sister's Sandie and Kellie and I were reminiscing today about how much we loved going to you all's home and got to be kids! We loved the smell of the ranch, playing on hey bails , the cows, the schucking of corn, all that goes with ranching and so much more. And Uncle Ray made the best bbq chicken ever, even to this day, I haven't had any bbq chicken like his. My husband and I stop by to visit with him, on our way to Fresno about 5 years ago, not positive of the time. However that was one of my favorite times with him, I saw Sandy and Teresa to, which was awesome. Uncle Ray and I stayed in phone contact from our last visit and I loved when he would call me, it meant so much to me. I Love you Uncle Ray! R.I.P. Keith Raymond Ashton!
