Life & Legacy
Our loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, father, unexpectedly passed on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 peacefully at home in Stansbury Park.

Christopher was born December 7th, 1993 in Murray, Utah to Sean and Kristine Buckner.

Christopher was the middle child of two beautiful loving sisters which he loved very much.

One of Christopher's biggest accomplishments in life was his daughter, Hadley. She is the love and joy of his life.

Christopher was an avid hunter and fisherman, and excelled at baseball, and was a true Patriots fan.

Christopher was a gentle giant, lived life to the fullest and loved big with all his heart.

Christopher is survived by parents Sean and Kristine Buckner; sisters Shawntay (Chris) Matthews and Madison (Jaren) Simmons; daughter Hadley Kay Buckner; Grandma Jo; Grandma Kathy; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and friends.

Preceded in death by grandpas Max, Dennis and Danny; grandma Sandra; great-grandma Mary; aunt Shannon; cousin Seth; and best friend Cody Gillette.

Christopher will be missed by his big loving family and many, many friends.

Due to this unforeseen social distancing, there will be a celebration of life held for Christopher at a later time.

As a baseball coach you hope and pray every year for a player like Chris. He excelled both physically and mentally and was willing to do anything to become better at his craft. The last time I saw him was when he was pitching for Grantsville and I umpired the plate for that game. He was one of my kids and will he truly missed. I want to send me condolences to Sean and Kris and Teflon girls for the loss of a one of a kind Son/brother. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I am sure the he was also a great dad to his little girl. He did have some very good examples to follow that he learned from growing up. I have so many happy memories of watching Christopher grow up from that rambunctious little boy with the big smile to a young man. I am so sorry you lost him. Life is certainly not fair in taking him away so young. Your family is in our thoughts, and always in our prayers. Love RJ and Amanda Nelson and family
